Morphology 

Morphology is the study of how words are formed. By understanding different word parts and how they can be combined to change meanings, students can unlock a whole new set of vocabulary.

NOTE: The quiz is split into three parts, Identification (10 Questions), Application (5 Questions), and Review (starting with lesson #2-5 Questions)  

  • The identification section will have students select the meaning of the prefix, root/base word, or suffix.

  • The application section will have students apply their understanding of the word part in order to figure out the definition of an unknown word.  

  • The review will go over five random word parts from previous lessons. Students will have to identify the meaning of the word part.
