Plot - Mini Lesson and Activities 

 

The plot could be considered the most important element of a story. It is the sequence of events where we learn more about the characters, the setting, and the theme of a story. In a way, the plot is the trunk from which all the other elements of a story grow. This lesson helps students review the basics of the plot diagram and start to understand the purpose of a plot.

Plot: The Quest Activity Pack

 

Your students know and understand the plot diagram. Now it’s time for them to practice and apply their knowledge.

The Quests: Students will read a 5-page short story and complete the step-by-step and detailed quests in order to complete a plot diagram.
